Involvement with other people is just as much a part of college as going to class, and we encourage students to get involved in our APU Clubs and Organizations! One group that is specifically for our on-campus residents is the Residence Hall Association or RHA.
RHA is the activities/governing board for your residence hall. They are independent of the Residence Life Office and designed to be a self-governing body of the residence halls. The purpose of Hall Council is, in conjunction with Residence Life, to develop and maintain a residence hall environment conducive to the educational and personal development of each resident. The primary activities of Hall Council are:
- To plan and implement social and educational programming for the residents of the Hall
- To collaborate with Residence Life staff in formulating or revising residence hall policy.
Past Activities of the Hall Council Include:
Haunted Casino Night
Pizza Party Study Breaks
Trips to the Bear Tooth Theatre
Luau Pool Party
and much more!
