Amenities for On Campus Living
As part of your "home away from home" at APU, we provide a number of amenities in our campus residential areas:
- Television LoungesBoth North and South Atwood have relaxing lounge areas with couches, tables, satellite television, DVD players and VCRs.
- Phones Each student room on campus is wired for local phone service with caller ID. Some phones are also available for checkout from the Residence Life Office. Calling cards must be used to place long distance calls.
- Computers Computer jacks provide Ethernet connections and network access to the campus server for all students living in North and South Atwood. Residents of University Village will have to use a computer modem and dial up access to connect to the campus server. If you need more information about computer hookups, contact the APU Information Technology Department at 907-564-8350.
- Laundry Coin-operated laundry facilities are provided in the basement of the Atwood Center for residents to use 24-hours a day.
- Storage Limited storage space is available to students in each residence hall. Summer storage is on a space available basis for students living on campus the next fall and the University is not responsible for stored items.
- Parking Parking is free to all students. Cars parked in non-designated spaces are subject to ticketing and disciplinary action.
