Portfolio Development

Essay

1. An explanation of what you understand a particular skill or understanding to involve;
2. Description of what you have done to achieve it, including formal coursework** and experiential learning;
3. A candid assessment of what you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses with respect to fulfillment of the competency;
4. Description of what you are including in the documentation section as evidence of having fulfilled the competency.

**Formal coursework is ordinarily required. Competencies for any area may be fulfilled by relevant out-of-classroom experiential learning through the Documentation of Experiential Learning for Credit (DEL Folder) process.
