The Autobiography

This should take the form of a thoughtful essay, not be merely a listing of chronological details. What is it that you want the reader to know about your interests and experiences in relation to the plans and dreams for the future you will describe in the section on goals? Make some notes to yourself in a brainstorming session: in addition to consulting your list of important learning events, think of people in your life, and other significant events that may help your advisor and others at APU to understand you better. Then go through, and see if you can identify a thread that connects the details you have included. You will have listed them because you feel their importance. Your job as writer is to help the reader see why they are relevant.
