STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
Monitor
This position works at the front desk in the Climbing Wall and Weight Room area.
Equipment Technician
This position works in the Equipment Room. Duties include renting out equipment, equipment repair and maintenance, and inventory.
Route Setter
This position works on a flexible schedule setting new routes on the Climbing Wall and helping maintain the wall.
OP Leader and Assistant Leader
There is a student assistant leader position on most trips and clinics and a student lead position on most on campus clinics and some trips. These positions are filled with students chosen from those in the OP Student Leadership Program.
OP Programmer
This position assists with the operation of the Outdoor Program. This student organizes a minimum of one event and one trip each year and gets an inside view on how to operate an outdoor recreation program. This is a great opportunity for students interested in pursuing an administrator position in the outdoor industry but is open to anyone.
