I forgot my APU email password!

Contact the IT Helpdesk either in person (room 111 in Grant Hall) or call the IT Helpdesk at (907) 564-8350 to reset your password. We are unable to send your new password to another email account due to security concerns.

Why do I need an email account at Alaska Pacific University?

Many classes operate mailing lists and otherwise utilizing email in their programs. In addition you will be receiving communications from Admissions, the Registrar's Office and Student Financial Services. All official APU email communication is conducted solely through your APU email account.

It also allows you to access the Consortium and other Library Resources online, as well as view portions of the Intranet (internal web pages) from off campus.

Can I get my own web site at Alaska Pacific University?

Web space is available on our servers for APU students. You must apply for web space online.

What happens next?

The IT Department will notify you that your account has been set up. This should be within 24 hours or your application. You will need to use the account name and password for accessing your APU email account. Your user name and password are also used for logging on to the APU network in the computer labs on campus, and to the website to view portions of the Intranet (internal web pages) from off campus.

How do I set up my email program?

You need to configure your program with the settings for our mail server. Instructions for configuring your email program are available from the APU IT Department in room 111 of Grant Hall.

How can I check my e-mail from campus?

You may use the computers in the ASC labs in the Atwood Center. If you are living on campus, the dorms are connected to the network. You will need a computer and and Ethernet network adapter card to connect to the network.

How do I check my e-mail from home?

All you need is a computer with Internet Access and a web browser. You can access your account through the WebMail interface at https://exchange.alaskapacific.edu/exchange
