Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality inventory. This non-judgmental instrument is widely applied in the career development field. Id allows exploration of preferences, particularly in respect to energy source, information gathering , decision making and lifestyle and work patterns. This information can assist individuals (including students, alumni, staff and faculty) in a number of areas: career decisions, team development, leadership styles, interpersonal relationships.

The MBTI is adapted from Carl Jung's theory of psychological type. This is an assessment of individual preferences, not a test of right or wrong answers. During a facilitation of the MBTI, you will receive booklets that will suggest work environments, occupations and academic majors for you to explore and evaluate.
